I hear from so many women who have been navigating hormonal challenges outside of fertility, pregnancy, or postpartum on their own and they are struggling. Whether it’s not being taken seriously by their healthcare provider - how many times have you been told it’s down to anxiety, or perhaps you should consider losing some weight? - or having to advocate for themselves when they know something isn’t right but their blood tests are all coming back ‘normal’.

So often we are dismissed or told that our symptoms are “just part of being a woman” or we are offered blanket solutions that provide a quick fix but don’t get to the root cause of the issue.

A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO HORMONE HEALTH

As a functional medicine trained registered Nutritional Therapist I don’t believe in brushing symptoms under the rug or taking a pill for every ill. I work with you to uncover what’s really going on and by listening to what your body is telling us (symptoms are simply information the body is trying to communicate to us) I can help you reconnect with your body again and start to bring her back into balance.

Whether you're navigating the unpredictable shifts of perimenopause, dealing with the monthly rollercoaster of PMS or PMDD; trying to manage the complex web of symptoms that come with PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, or thyroid conditions like Hashimoto’s or Graves, you’re in the right place.

By using my Third Way approach I work on uncovering the drivers of your hormonal imbalance and together, we look at your nutrition, lifestyle, detoxification pathways, gut health, supplement needs, gut and vaginal ecology, stress response, genetics, and more. We sometimes use functional testing (like DUTCH hormone panels or thyroid labs) where appropriate to uncover what your body is truly asking for. But because you are more than just your physical body, I also combine the scientific with the energetic and emotional side of your hormonal story.

We work with your cyclical nature - whether you still bleed or not - to honour the season of life you’re currently in, and guide your body back towards optimal health. This may look like suggesting self-led rituals like spiritual baths, seasonal practices from the Wheel of the Year, suggesting crystals to work with or referring on to other healing modalities like counselling, where appropriate. It’s always a bespoke mix suited to what you need at this time in your life.
